Notes (from PokeMAME) : A Dave Nutting creation. How it works : There is a metal "hockey puck" with a rubber bumper around it that is probably magnetic. When it slides up the glass towards the back of the field there is probably a row of "Hall effect" transistors that detect it. The screen can be seen in the pictures and there is a 45 degree angled piece of glass in front of it. On that glass can be seen the reflection of the light-up pins that are actually below the playfield under another piece of glass.
